I really enjoyed this book. I liked that it felt like a step away from what I’ve been reading lately. What I liked most what the tone of the book, slow moving, but still engrossing. Stephen King does a great job painting out Joyland and really makes the characters come alive. Joyland is very much a book I plan to come back to, though probably not soon. To many books on my plate for that. Although for a murder mystery, there’s surprising little of it.
That’s all for Joyland and Next month I’ll be reading Maplecroft by Cherie Priest. Have a great month and keep reading.
